Narratives, whether in film or books, contain stories within stories. At least the good ones do. The question is – can you unravel the layers to find the points of truth and lies? Can you distinguish the worldview of the author or the story they weave?
Even more interesting, can you discover the monsters from id? The monsters that are created when we fail to repent?
